Dana Air selects Spectranet for free Wi-Fi for travellers

In what appears to be a subtle endorsement of Spectranet as the fastest and most innovative broadband service provider in the country, Dana Air has joined the growing list of reputable brands associating with Spectranet to enjoy its unique broadband service offering.

Disclosing the partnership with Dana Air recently, Chief Executive Officer of Spectranet, David Venn, said

“its gladdening to note that the Spectranet brand is now a wonderful bride of great and aspiring brands within and outside Nigeria. Just right after we got selected to warehouse the only Netflix server in West Africa, here we are again with an indigenous world class airline company, with a great spirit of service, joining with us to provide excellent service to passengers of Dana Airline as they journey to Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt from the Murtala Mohammed Airport 2 terminal”.
The significance of this partnership, according to Mr Venn, is that it shows and confirmed the Spectranet brand as an innovative brand and a leader in its sector based on its relentless effort to provide the best Internet experience to consumers.

Speaking on the relationship with Spectranet 4G LTE, the Chief Executive Officer of Dana Air, Mr. Jacky Hathiramani  said “as an airline of repute and strong pedigree in the aviation sector, we took our time observing the broadband service providers and came to the conclusion that Spectranet is the brand we should associate with.

According to Mr Hathiramani,
“Spectranet 4GLTE is the obvious choice for us as we searched for a partner and the awards speak glowingly of the strength of character of the Spectranet brand as it is probably the most awarded internet service provider in the country today. We, at Dana Air, appreciate the service offering of such a young and dynamic brand in the market”.
Mr Hathiramani added that “we do hope that the relationship will increase the wonderful experience of our passengers as they embark of their various journeys from the Murtala Mohammed Two Airport terminal.
He concluded that
“Dana Air will always strive to offer world class aviation services to Nigerians by being the country’s first new world carrier committed to improving the well -being of customers in all product offerings, thus this partnership with Spectranet is another step in our quest to provide a World class quality service to our customers.”
In a related development, Spectranet opened its ultra-modern business Shop at Apo Shoprite Abuja with the goal of serving over fifteen private estates around Apo.

Head of Marketing, Spectranet, Mike Ogor said the new outlet is in keeping with the aspiration of Spectranet to be easily accessible in every location as the affordable broadband company that cares for the family and business.

Mike revealed that it is part of the strategic plan of Spectranet to maintain its leadership position in the market by having strong physical and virtual presence across every possible platform in order to meet the needs of customers in the country.

Since the commencement of the year 2016, different reputable institutions in Nigeria, through various consumer voting mechanisms, have adjudged Spectranet 4G LTE brand as the most innovative Internet Service Provider of the year, the most customer friendly Internet Service Provider of the year and recently, the Brand Writers Association of Nigeria, in the just concluded BJAN 2016 award also voted Spectranet 4GLTE as the best customer friendly Internet Service Provider of the year 2016.
