Top de Blasio Aide Posts Photo of Vulgar, Racist Sign
A senior aide to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is under fire for posting a photo to Facebook of a sign that reads “f*** whiteness.” The picture, posted on November 14, shows Lincoln Restler's parents and sister on the streets of New York protesting Donald Trump's election victory. His sister is seen holding a sign with the vulgar slogan, while his parents' signs read "Black Lives Matter" and "Love." Restler deleted the post after people began to criticize his sister's sign as vulgar, racist and inappropriate. Restler also deleted his Twitter account.
