Meet the winners of the 2016 edition of the American Music Awards

The 2016 edition of the American music awards took place on Sunday, 20^th November at the Microsoft theatre in Los Angeles, California.
The event, hosted by top model Jigi Hadid and rapper/actor/comedian Jay Pharoah saw performances from Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd.
Drake, who led the pack with 13 nominations, went home with 2 awards and had his dad as his date for the night.
There were several highpoints at the event notable among them Selena Gomez tearful and emotional speech after she won the pop/rock female artiste of the year.
